I've been using money opower lvl 3 spamming the 3 star restaurant in luminose. You make more than you spent after the first 2 battles. Or you can do the E4 using 2 counts of money opower for 200k or so. I think the restaurant is faster.

Haven't been the game yet, but I got 4 perfects from doing jobs at Richissime Hotel and had my pay bumped from 2,000 per job to 10,000 per job.

Clearing the 3-star cafe within a few turns every battle also nets you a hefty amount of Big Mushrooms, which can be sold for a nice price.
