And in the image I stated D/P starts 1 year after HG/SS because I figured it would take a year (in game) to make the journey to the Red Gyarados part.

Connecting to a Gen 1 game in Gen 2 explicitly mentions using a Time Capsule to send the Pokemon back in time.

There is not even a remote mention of time travel between FRLG and RSE.

FR/LG don't happen at the same time as R/S/E because of some bogus mission that was only made SO THAT YOU COULD TRADE ACROSS. THEY MADE THE MISSION, SO IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE TO TRADE BETWEEN GAMES. The purpose of that mission was not to make an easter egg or reference to a different game, LIKE HOW YOU CAN VISIT KANTO IN THE HG/SS GAMES.

When you visit Kanto in HG/SS, nearly every other NPC will talk about the 3 year gap, and how things have changed.

That is called a reference.

The Team Rocket Grunt in B/W, that's an easter egg.

The shit that people think counts as evidence of a timeline, was just made to mimic the events of G/S/C where you could trade pokemon to the past.

When DPPt starts, they specifically mention the RED GYARADOS in LAKE RAGE, and is actually the reason Lucas/Dawn follows Barry into the lake nearby.

IF I DID say that it wasn't confirmed, I was going to look it up soon, but got carried away with this thread the SS Anne leaves during the course of FR/LG, then that means that R/S/E would take place AFTER FR/LG in the same manner that D/P/Pt takes place AFTER HG/SS.

However, we're back to square one since the ship in R/S/E is NOT the SS Anne.

No concrete evidence that FR/LG and Emerald take place at the same time besides the mission with Celio where you have to connect Bill's PC system in Kanto to Lannettes in Hoenn.

HG/SS take place three years after FR/LG, with Platinum beginning during the Lake of Rage event.

Black and White take place a minimum of three years after Platinum.

Black 2 and White 2 explicitly state that B/W take place two years earlier.

X and Y is an uncertain amount of time after B2/W2 and makes numerous references to the previous five regions, especially Hoenn and Unova.

R/S takes place the same time as R/G/B because of the whole Ruby and Sapphire powered trading device in the Sevii Islands and the fact that Steven left Hoenn during the three year skip between before HGSS and DP and ended up in Johto.

They use these events for a reason, and you gotta pay attention to every detail.

X&Y however most likely occurs 7 years after R/B because Red and Blue are 10 years old in those games and by the time X&Y come out, Blue is already studying abroad, ergo, he's in college

I can prove that RSE takes place before 2nd/4th gen. Look at the pokeballs, in RSE the Dusk balls, Quick balls, ect... haven't been invented yet, and in RSE it is stated that Timer balls are a recent invention. They're in FrLg but the ones available in later games are absent because they haven't been invented yet.

I explained Norman to myself like this: He was the obvious choice for the next Goldenrod Gym Leader while working under Whitney's predecessor until they had some sort of falling out, which pissed Norman off so much he moved to Hoenn and forced no-name to scramble to find a replacement.

It explains Norman's Normal mastery and why a Gym Leader left his gym to a novice like Whitney.

Then again, if we assume RSE comes some time after GSC, maybe it WAS being passed over for Whitney that made him say, "Screw you, Johto. I'm going to Hoenn, where they will respect me!"

So then R/S/E's only REAL tie to the other game's is that the Protag was originally born in JOHTO?

Are there any reference's in Johto to Norman? Maybe if there's an NPC that speaks of Norman we can figure out when he left?

Also, not much but,
