MY FINDINGS:
I traded away a full box of Hidden Ability starters earlier today, and I found that EVERYONE from Japan gave me shit like rodents, monkeys, or common trash. From Korea, I got a Ralts with Pokérus and a Furfrou who I'm keeping just for the sake of his Korean name and the fact I can refer to him as my "Korean popstar boy idol" Furfrou. From the UK, I got nothing. They must have all been asleep. From Mexico, I got a shit-nature Gible, some route 2 trashmons, and a bred Meditite (that was originally from someone else.)
And lastly, from America, I got a Timid Protean Froakie, a Bulbasaur with Petal Dance, a Charmander (named r/pokemon) with Flare Blitz, and a Timid Goomy with good IVs, the Hawaii Vivillon (which I didn't have yet). The rest of the shit I got from America was just the usual rodents, monkeys, etc.
In summation, most of the good shit I get is from America. I'm assuming it's because Japan has a much higher player base with half of it being young children. I imagine those in America who like Pokémon are, in general, older since they're probably leftovers from the Pokémania like 15 years ago (myself included). But who knows.
My grandpa always warned me about those nipnops.
