In the run up to the event ending there'll probably be loads of people with two games (like me) repeatedly restarting to get more Blazikenite, and trading it onto their main game. Plus Pokégen will probably exist before long.

Honestly, that's your fault for starting a new game, not theirs. Not sure what to say, except that it was like this before, and they tell you that starting a new game will make you lose certain items and pokemon.

I'm bothered by this too, OP. I have no choice but to ask somebody to hold my Blazikenite for a little or just wait until Z to start a new game. I was so fucking hype about Bank essentially giving us new game plus, but this item crap is just a dick move.
