So according to Serebii, Destiny Knot now will transfer 5 of the 6 IVs a parent may have. Has someone tested it already? Seems we'll be having perfect IV Pokémon passed around in Wi-Fi very soon.

Last gen if you didn't RNG abuse (I still don't get the point, just Pokégen at this point) you were lucky as fuck if you had 1 IV you wanted.

The other parent could have the remaining perfect IV you need, just keep breeding until you get them all. Still way faster than using Power Items.

We now just have to wait until Pokémon Bank goes live so people can start transfering their perfect IV mons.

I think we've confirmed that the five IVs come from both parents, not just the one holding the item. So it is like Destiny Knot chooses five stats, then for each of those stats it chooses one parent from which that stat is inherited.

Where the fuck does this "1/31 chance" come from? And it also depends which base parents you're using. Are we just using our initial Pokebros we caught during the story, the offsprings of already established breeding machines or the safari friend zone Pokemon?

It comes from the fact that two IVs are inherited, and the rest are randomly generated. Since the only possibilities are 0, 1, 2... 30, 31, that gives you a 1/32 chance to have one IV be perfect. It increments exponentially if you want more to be perfect.
