>>14794972I caught a Fletching because it was new, and after I few fights (and some time in Amie) I had a bro for life. When it evolved into Fletchinder, it kinda fucked up my team plan. I was planning on grabbing Charmander from the Prof, but having two fire/flying is a bad idea. Mine evolved into Talonflame after the third gym, haven't used it in battle yet though.
I also really like Tyrunt. I haven't evolved mine yet, but he's pretty powerful. I don't really like having two rock types on my team (I have a Lairon too) but they're just too cool not to have both.
I'm disappointed with my starter though. I picked Chespin, got him to level 27 and he just got left behind. Espeon/Tyrunt/Lairon/Fletchinder were just more useful. I'm trying to get a Lotad and a Nidoran F at some point but I can't seem to find any.
