Diantha, Iris and Wallace did absolutely jack shit for the plot and had no build-up, not to mention how fucking goofy Iris looks.

Battle-wise
>Steven > Cynthia > Alder > Blue > Wallace > Lance > Iris > Diantha
Steven had a fucking amazing team. Blue would be higher, but he gets docked points because it's the same team you've fought the whole game and already mostly prepared for.

Blue had a great team, but not only do I agree with your point on how you fight him most of the time, but his champion team's movelist was terrible

HG/SS you can teach ice fang to gyarados or other mons that can use ice type moves
