Tried to hunt a Shiny Brave Male Honedge. Gave up after an hour and also because I thought the incredible ammount of good luck I'd need to get that nature, that pokemon and that gender.

Then I tried to masuda method a shiny female timid ralts.
Gave up on the 30 egg.

I was never a fan of Shiny pokemon from Gen 3 onward after making it just a cosmetic change and useless in a long run.

Gen 2 shinies were more valuable and rare but now everybody has them.

Hordes are only a certain group per route, don't know if buying honey is possible but you can collect with ability honey gather or some' like that. Also sweet scent works for horde battles I've heard

been hatching for Mild Protean Froakies, MMin' for that shiny.

After filling up three and a half boxes, I have my shiny Froakie (actually missed it at first, noticed when I was putting it away in boxes), but it doesn't have Protean.

I have a shiny Nosepass I caught two days ago. Found it in a horde. Been playing since gen 1 and my first shiny was a Tympole in B&W!

I'm not a shiny hunter so I figured I'd trade him for something nice. I'd love breeding chespin/quilladin with good IVs. (no need to be shiny but mirror ability a plus)
