Hey /vp/,
I'm hosting a Pokemon movie night / tournament for my university and we're playing six of the movies.

I was just gonna play the first six, but I figured after the first 3, none of the genwunners cared anymore so I might as well play some newer ones.

What are the six best Pokemon movies?

OP, they'll hate if you dont play 1.

10, 11, 12 work as a trilogy, so you may want to avoid them. (10 actually works well as a standalone)

I recommend 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 10,

The first three films will be good for nostalgia. 5 has Bianca, and superior Rocket which should keep you entertained. 9 has Bikini May throughout the movie, and 10 works like a summer blockbuster.

Possibly switch out 10 or 9 for Destiny Deoxys.

Mewtwo Strikes Back
Emperor of the Crystal Tower
Mew and the Wave-Guiding Hero
Pokemon Ranger and the Prince of the Sea
Dialga VS Palkia VS Darkrai
Giratina and the Sky Bouquet
Towards Conquering Space and Time

Worst movies are:
Victini and Reshiram/Zekrom
Kyurem VS Keldeo

Everything else is more or less watchable.

That is pretty much perfect, except you MAY want to switch out either Manaphy or Zoroark for Latias/Entei, or both.

Lugia movie's honestly overrated. Personally, I found it to be one of the weaker first series Pokemon films. Mewtwo and Entei films are far better, and the Latios/Latias film had its charm as well.
