Got one on my 3rd egg.

Actually, to be honest, I was originally just breeding for Sap Sipper (feel like it might be slightly more useful in-game) and used my JP Ditto for the hell of it. Shiny has Hydration but I did get a SS on my first egg. Might use the shiny anyway. I'm not even sure if I like shiny Goodra, can't remember what it looks like.

I still use that road too. But what that anon means is in the center of Lumoise City or whatever it's called, there is the tower where you can walk around it in circles just by holding left on the d-pad. Tape the d-pad down to auto hatch eggs.

You don't need to see a pokemon to trade on GTS anymore. Just go to the bottom where it says "What Pokemon" or whatever and enter the name of the Pokemon you want. It's great.

In Kiloude's Pokemon Center, there's the IV judge to the left side. If you're talking about exact IVs for all the stats, I don't know if there's a calc for the Kalos mons yet.

Also, I've been shooting for Fennekin and Goomy. No luck on a shiny, but got a couple with decent IVs. Haven't done a lot since my time is limited, and I wt'd most of them already.

the egg is determined shiny once you pick up from the daycare man. not when it hatches. so soft resetting only works if you are only hatching 1 egg. and you save before picking up the egg

Here's a tip that I discovered to keep the flow of hatching/breeding.

After getting your egg just walk to the middle of the path that goes horizontally, get on your bike and go all the way from the edge of route 5 to the cave and you'll be unscaved. Keep going back and forth till you get a party full of eggs and your flame body pokemon. When you hatch two of them you go into the day care center and deposit them.

I found that this method flowed a lot easier and kept me interested rather than getting all of the eggs and running around the tower.

Trying to breed Zoroarks as my first step into the breeding scene! But the daycare guy says that my (male) Zoroark and my ditto don't like each other very much. I tried googling around and according to older gens a male one could breed with a ditto. Can anyone clarify?

The point is that you can do something else while biking around, rather than having to devote your attention to bouncing back and forth. I guess you go a bit slower due to having to fly and having to tape/untape your dpad, but it's a lot more passive.

How ya'll folks passing down natures?
I have a male Japanese gastly (and a Japanese ditto) and I'm currently using the Ditto and a fem Haunter to shit eggs.

The male Japanese is Hasty which isn't terrible.

Anybody have a good link to a guide or something? I don't want my shiny spook to be useless.

Shiny Timid Charmander in a Luxury Ball
Egg count: 24 + 420~ (420 much earlier because I thought modest was best nature)

It was a bitch setting up the eggs. First I had to find a friend safari with female Charmeleon. Then I had to catch it in a Luxury Ball. Then I had to breed a female with the ball and Timid nature. Now, I'm using a German Charmander male and my hatched luxury charmander to make eggs.

Question; do TM moves not pass down? the male Charmander knows Flamethrower, yet the children do not.

Maybe not every time. I usually put 2-3 in the box at a time, then collect more eggs while the others hatch, then repeat. That way you aren't repeatedly going back to the PC and you have a pretty steady flow of eggs.

I could make it press B too.
Right now it just clips on the bottom left. If I added the A and B support, it would probably have to clip onto the back of the 3DS as an almost back plate type deal.

So I'm using masuda method for clauncher, around box 6 or 7. I'm worried it'll have bad IVs though. What I'm doing is checking each offspring to see if it has 31 special attack, and when I do I'll replace the clauncher in the daycare with it. Then when I get one that has 31 special attack and HP, I'll swap that one.

Is that how I'm supposed to do it? I'm not sure how IVs get passed down.

It has to be a different language

If you have a Japanese Pokemon, look at its info, there's a JPN tag by its name

For MM the Pokemon needs to have a tag like this, just a different region won't work if the games are the same language

its a base vavlue for a stat between 1-31 its like being geneticly gifted in say defense and Sp.A which will mean that it will laways be better than any other one with the same EVs. pokemon in the safari zone always have atleast 1 perfect IV so are great for breeding to check you go to a guy in the pokemon centre in safari zone town 'simply cant be beat' is a perfect IV in that stat
