Is anyone else as disappointed in this thing as I am? I mean... these base stats...

HP: 65
Atk:75
Def:90
SpAtk:97
SpDef:123
Spd:44

I mean, it could have been a viable Special wall if the HP wasn't fucking abysmal... Does anyone see a use for this thing or is it banished to RU?

GF shit the bed with a lot of Gen VI mons when it comes to stats.

It's like they tried to balance out Gen V which was strong stat wise. The damage is already done though, they should have just made them Gen V level and kept everything around that level afterwards.

Man, I was so psyched about poison type becoming viable, my favorite poke, Gengar, becoming useful, and hopefully the dethroning of some of the worst OU threats (fucking Terrakion..) but now that I see it in action, I don't want it anymore...

Literally everyone is using Gengar now, which is fine and all, but that also means everyone will soon have a counter, and Poison types are remaining fucking garbage while old moveslots are being diverted to otherwise crap moves... I mean, I like the direction the gameplay went, and I'm happy with alot, but some things, man...

Gengar has been good every Gen, and getting even more ridiculous every Gen. Ghost is even now only resisted by two things, like Dragon: Normal (immunity), and Dark (resisted), and Dark is a pretty bad typing.

This one has shit stats, though. Remember: A Pokemon isn't good only because of its ability, you should take stats into account too. Or are you saying Honchkrow and Dunsparce are good?

How does baton pass work with contrary?
I can't think of any offhand, but aren't there some speed reducing attacks out there, and could they be baton passed for benefit to Malamar?

Baton Pass bestows stat changes as they were presented to the user. Example: Spinda gets Contrary, Superpower, and Baton Pass.
