This guy. THIS GUY.

He had so much potential, and it was all ruined because Gamefreak decided to make him a complete fucking joke.

He gets destroyed by N, has a shitty team and a shitty battle theme, and in the second game gets completely overshadowed by his grandson.

If I could go back in time, the first thing I'd do would be to stop this from happening. I would use my time-traveling powers to continually reset into the same time period over and over again until I eventually, by process of elimination, figure out a way to do so.

First of all, I would make it so his team is higher-leveled, rather than having the same puny levels as Cynthia's team (which she actually made up for by having good Pokemon.)

Second of all, completely revamp his battle theme. Maybe make it the end credits theme.

I really love this character, and it's a shame to see him go unnoticed because he isn't a Mary Sue. But if making him a Mary Sue would be the only option, then I'd take it, just so that whiny bitch Cynthia would finally step out of the spotlight.
