I've spent at least 1/3 of my time in Pokemon Amie, I only have 1 badge, and I have a job that interferes with my play time. Maybe I'll beat it in a few weeks

I was like that too but add "getting Adamant and Timid Dittos" to that list: I wanted to start raising my definitive competitive team right away, now I'm catching up, just beated Team Flare at the Pokeball Factory.

i've played for around 50 hours maybe so far, i've beaten the E4 and champ and am doing post game stuff.. i didn't bother with amie or super training with first playthrough so i beat it pretty quickly and with a team around lvl 70 (thanks based EXP share). then i went back and reset my teams EVs and super trained each one. i must say, i never bothered before to EV train since it was so time consuming and i generally play casually, but this super training system is nice. fun minigame and takes less than 2 hours to fully train one pokemon. this speed boost mega blaziken with attack EVs...might be my new fav fire starter

Dude, im in the same boat.
I just beat the fairy gym leader and i have had the game since release.

I have 2 part time jobs so i only play on my days off.

I'm defiantly taking my sweet ass time with this glorious pokemon game.

Yeah. My first 36 hours was spent in Super Training, Amie, and just wandering. Now I'm working toward finishing the story at 48.

I wanted to savor the journey more than get to the endgame

ive been doing the same. Super Training for ridiculous numbers of evo stones, EV training, abusing wondertrade like it was a $2 whore. And I just beat the first gym

There's no need to rush to end game for me since I don't have any real plans for competitive battling.
