The PokeRadar is a tool used to repeatedly fight the same pokemon over and over. Not only is it a tool, but it is also a game.
Finding the same Pokemon results in a chain. This chain is your chance of finding a shiny out of 8000+. This chain caps out at 40.
So, if you chain 40 of the same Pokemon, your chance of finding a shiny is 1/200 or so.
However, keeping a chain is hard. To chain, follow these rules.
1. make sure you have a repel active at all times.
2.don't leave that patch of grass
3. only go for patches farthest from you, the shake the same as the patch you entered. If it is not 4 patches away at least, then run for 50 steps and reset. Make sure you run only left to right when you reset.
4.don't ride your bike. don't use your skates.
5. when you get to 40, reset your radar until you find it.
