I didn't pay attention to any of the leaks for the Gym Leaders so when I was hearing about him from NPCs I was expecting some Grass-Type noble-looking guy, like a regal gentleman or something. Heard he had a Gogoat and I was thinking of him riding on it and helping people out or something. Was not expecting old man snips McGee.

I still think he's pretty cool design-wise and I love the design of the Gym, but I guess my imagination went too far.

No one ever cares about the older NPCs. Wattson, Bertha, Agatha, Blaine, Clay, etc. They only care about waifu/husbando material.

Why are the Gen 6 gyms so forgettable? They started off with the first three gym leaders being slightly important, then everyone else just seemed like wallpaper. Even Clemont was a disappointing gym leader.

The gen 5 gym leaders had alot more personality and were involved more with the story. Everyone did something outside the gym or had something to them.

Compare to now when half the leaders just stay in there gym the entire time and the ones you do see have absolutely nothing to them aside from maybe one cut scene, aside from the mega evolution one

Gen 6 Gyms:
Korrina(only for being slightly important in the story, she's as overdesigned as most of the megas)>Wulfric(coolest looking gym even though it had fuck all to do with ice)>Viola>Grant>Clemont>Valerie(just as mediocre gym as the last two but it was the first fairy gym)>Ramos>Olympia(close decision for worst but her gym was annoying to go through, atleast you can tarzan through Ramos's)

I just beat the 6th gen and I have 4 Pokemon about level 60. I'm not even trying to grind, this fucking +20% xp and xp share are OP. Currently training up a second team so I can try and have fun.
