Nigga I've only see 2, both of which have dissapeared on a copy of my HeartGold that got stolen. I got mugged visiting my high school buddy in New York, took my DS and HeartGold (didn't have my wallet on me). Both my shiny Gastrodon and Raticate were on there.

The first was a shiny Rattata when I was first playing through GSC as a kid. And I was out of pokeballs.

The second was a shiny Geodude that I actually did save and had for a long time

The third was a shiny Medicham in a Nuzlocke run of Pearl. It was not the first pokemon in the route. Fuck my luck.

Not XY as I don't own it yet, but I chained this guy the other day, and yesterday I chained a shiny Ralts (also Loney, why) on only a 3 or 4 chain, and while chaining Pichus ran into a NORMAL ODDS 1/8192 shiny in a normal patch of grass, nearly shit myself because as I saw it appear I went "huh, that looks kind of--SPARKLE????". After that I managed to reach 40 and for the first time ever while chaining, not immediately break it. Netted 9 shiny Pichus, 1 a natural encounter, and 2 are Modest because of the fainted Modest Ralts w/Synchronize in the front of my party.

10 shinies in one day. Absolutely retarded. Hope I can manage to do that on something else I want to chain so I can trade off some for other things when I can afford XY.

I still can't believe I ran into TWO low-odd shinies in one day. Happened once before, in FRLG. Ran into a shiny Graveler, then about an our later, a shiny Meowth. So strange...

2) go to the Pokeball Boutique in Lumiose and buy Premier Balls 1 at a time, you'll need about 150 if you're at 0 style

3) go talk to the guy in the Stone Emporium who wants to sell you Blastoisite/Charizardite/Venusaurite, if it costs 50k or less, you're good. If not, go back and buy more Premier Balls

4) go to Cafe Introversion and you'll find Mr Bonding who gives it to you.

I finally got my first shiny! I've been playing pokemon since red and blue was first released in the US and I've yet to get a shiny other than the red gyarados.

It sucks it's the worst shiny to have, but I'm just glad I finally have one.
