So, does this bad boy have any potential competitively? I know his stats are pretty meg across the board other than his Sp. Attack, but his ability provides a non-STAB'd aura sphere for christ's sake.

He has been pretty good for me, diverse moveset and all boosted by his ability. Shit high special attack too and can take some damage, unlike Kingler.

Since this thing gets Shell Smash you can run it as a sweeper or a all purpose army knife due to Mega Launcher, Plus it has decent defenses. Its fucking great going to be a threat in UU
