Currently there is a lot of people confused about chaining, i have written up a guide on how to chain, post your questions and i might be able to answer them.

Where are there large grass patches? The ones in this game SUCK. Far too small, a million holes in them, etc...

Man, they basically ruined chaining with these changes. So even if you get to 40 pokemon if you try reseting for the shiny patches it can simply break the chain? Fuck that.

See, that's the problem.

All the big patches have junk pokemon.

The few places with good pokemon have tiny, broken patches.

I think I'll wait until we get a completely verified and confirmed rules list for Gen 6 chaining. As of right now this is just another way of increasing your blood pressure.

Yeah, right now we have a very limited knowledge about chaining in gen VI, but it still is at the moment, an effective way of getting a shiny, once we get it down i can guarantee a lot more people will be chaining shinies.
