Currently at the cave with the mirrors. Eveything is around Lv 30 except Chesnaught (Lv 36 because fuck Quilladin is just ugly) and Clauncher (Lv 12, recently hatched)

Greninja, Rotom and Goodra all deserve the praise. Vespiquen and Granbull are ehhh but they aren't bad Pokémon. However I would suggest swapping out Medicham, perhaps Gallade?

Thoughts? I feel like I should get rid of Ninjask. He'd be great if he learnt ANY good flying moves, plus Shedinja needs a different nature, timid a shit. Tyrantrum's a brave, but that's workable since+attack, and I can EV some speed in.

I'm using Scrafty, has decent Attack along with good defenses. I would suggest it, It is quite weak to Fairy though, You may want Breloom to use grass moves as well.

Avalugg is a tank, there has not been a physical attack that has done more than half his health so far. Online I found out it can tank Mega lucario's close combat and OHKO it with EQ.
Malamar is really fun with contrary Superpower, and contrary in general. Topsy turvy can be fun too.

First 3 have been brilliant, I like Dragalge but I wish it was a bit speedier. Talonflame's decent but I probably wouldn't be using it if I wasn't so insistent on having a Flier.

I love Aurorus but I'm thinking about dropping it. It's kill or be killed when using it and unfortunately it just doesn't kill enough. Was considering training an Avalugg but I'd probably just run into the same problems.

Offensive type coverage is good. Defensively, a strong Fighting-type could really wreck you with 4/6 of your pokemon being weak to it, 5 if it runs Stone Edge or Rockslide

Lapras is temporary, I'm gonna replace her with a Lombre/Ludicolo when I find one. Got the stone to evolve it, and the stone to evolve Nidorina too. I'm just waiting to see what moves Nidorina will learn.

Crustle lead for Stealth Rock set-up. Has some damage with X-Scissor.

Omastar Support with Spikes, Scald, Ice Beam, and Protect. Status inflictor.

Swalot Force Switcher. Use Yawn, they switch into Spikes and Stealth Rock. If they actually fight and go to sleep, then I stockpile for more tankyness and recover from Black Sludge. Have Spit Up if I need to do something. Highly reliant on Spikes/StealthRock

NInjask Support. Typical Speed Booster to get speed stacks onto other team-mates especially my next one. Also has Swords Dance to Baton-Pass onto the team.

Rhyperior Attacker. Possibly going Choice Band to get the maximum out of his awesome Att stat. Give this nig some speed from Ninjask and hes ready to roll.

Volcarona Sp.Attacker. Quiver Dance and Fiery Dance is all it needs. Can possibly get some speed stacks from Ninjask.

Ludicolo as my Special Wall. Tanky and has lots of recovery moves like Giga Drain and Leech Seed. Just incase the enemy has a strong Sp.A Poke. My other Pokemon are bulky in the "Defense" stat. Especially Rhyperior.

Rate it. Im not a highly competitive person. I use my favorites to battle and dont care about tiers.
I understand I have a disadvantage from having so many Bug and Ground/Rock. Im open to suggestions to replace some of these roles.

It's just my least favorite design wise.

I'd take something with more speed as an attacker. Escavalier is very slow.

The last two are the most replaceable, I was thinking to replace Charizard with Flygon (I know that Ice would hurt 4 of 6 mons but I don't care for the in-game).

I would like to replace Greninja for another water or someone with surf. Also, I would prefer it to be more defensive. I'm looking for an electric type too, Ampharos would be nice

i had a dragalge all the way up until i beat the champion so i could have an anti-fairy or a special defender, but i must say he was probably the worst pokemon ive ever had. my talonflame could suck up more damage than that useless piece of shit, he's slow, and he's weake to like 5 types. probably the only time he didnt die when i sent him out was when he just barely survived and i had to use a hyper potion.
now i couldn't have possibly been using him that badly, i even gave him a sp. attack nature and gave him plenty of STABs. it pisses me off how he turned out to be a huge stain on my team all the way until the end.

A Roserade has been my unexpected bro of my team and learns some nice moves by endgame. Heliolisk is also an option with an interesting design and decent enough coverage plus it's fast enough to utilize volt switch or u-turn just in case. Paper defenses though.

Aegislash is totally worth it especially if you teach it King's Shield. It's defenses are through the roof and when it changes to blade forme those same defenses get switched for massive attack power.

The Charizard will probably be replaced for a different Mega soon, even though it is pretty damn good itself. Also, the Florges is a shiny I encountered release day on one of the first routes without hunting for a shiny. I waited to shiny stone Floette right before the E4 to make sure I didn't miss any moves. I wasn't sure how good the shiny would look either, but it turned out the best. The Meowstic turned into MVP with Vivillion trailing closely behind, soloing all the Flare stuff and constantly killing fire types somehow. I can't believe how crazy good male Meowstic turned out to be. I kept Exp Share off the entire game because challenge.

Entry hazards like stealth rock is quite common on comp teams, so your talonflame's focus sash will be all but useless as soon as that one move is made. In addition, Whirlwind goes last (even with Talon's hidden ability), and since its so frail it would be silly to have that move on it. I would suggest replacing Talon with a lead that can set and/or prevent hazards (magic bounce pokemon, taunters, rapid spinners).

In addition, it seems like Aeigislash will be your main sweeper, so think about all of the pokemon that can fuck it up and add counters for them. Put shell smash on cloyster, it's worthless without dem boosts.

Forretress can rapid spin and set up spikes/stealth rock, espeon can use magic bounce, there's really a fuck ton of taunters out there, so there isn't really a best taunter.

Put lefties on Aegislash, that way you can set up and get some recovery when you use King's Shield/Sword Dance. He doesn't really need the extra damage life orb gives at +6 anyway.

I come to you all with my brand of idea and it works fucking fantastic.
Brave HP/Attack trained Dusknoir holding a weakness policy.
Moves include trickroom, earthquake, icepunch and shadow sneak.
Enemies see it, use ghost/dark type against it, it tanks the hit, uses trick room, goes first next turn, one-shots almost everything weak to earthquake so far (even mega lucario) and it sets up the trickroom for the other 2 pokes.

I am absolutely loving my dusknoir. Too bad the rhyperior I tried to use in the trick room strat is proving less stellar.
I'd like suggestions on a good ground-type pokemon that is not garchomp.

My team is getting butt-devastated by Fairy Type, especially the Fairy type gym.

Theyre off by a few small points depending on the pokemon. But I am only using two gen6 pokemon, one of which is 100% accurate due to the 100 point BST mega increase.

And I don't even get to u se assault vest in showdown yet since it isn't added. AND togekiss doesn't have fairy typing yet so I can't block outrage

AND aura sphere isn't getting boosted by mega launcher yet

You want to pick a core first, Like. "I want to sweep with Dragon dance salmence" or something.

Then you build offensive and defensive cores, taking out his counters and at least have something to switch in against every threat.

Then you add Sneaky pebbles / Spikes / Spinners / Other support (defenders often make good healing / status support) as required.

Then you practice and above all, analyse weaknesses and improve.

There are other ways to build a team, but the beauty of Protean is it makes him able to kill a remarkable amount of different things, especially with that speed. I would suggest Proakie as a spiker or a cleaner (killing already weakened mons towards the end of a fight)

so postgame whats the quickest way to raise some new pokemon? just do some horde battles to max EVs quick, then just run through the E4 a bunch? ive got a level 100 greninja with pokerus and a lucky egg that ive been soloing the E4 with, and through exp share it levels up stuff fairly quickly i guess, seems like its going slower now that hes level 100 though, does it not count lucky egg boosts when hes maxed out?

This has been my favorite since my very first platinum run. All of these guys are automatically going into the bros for life status, especially floette, I got lucky and it had an awesome nature and IVs when I caught it. Once I beat the game she's getting a reset bag and kicking ass in doubles.

The Balm Mushrooms you get + the win money from each battle pretty much exceeds the amount you pay for. I like to use Rotation Battle so 3 Pokemon on the field get the full EXP without having to actually participate in the battle. The set with Lucario and Togekiss always ends up exceeding 6 turns for me though.

I've been doing elite 4. I've got a Greninja that can solo the fire and ghost ones, and after a while my team was able to cream the rest. I used O Power for money to get 50K from them each, and then before my team was able to pound them, you pay 9K for losing.

Last slot was Butterfree, Shedinja, Tyrunt, Avalugg, Wigglytuff and Druddigon, in that order.

Currently making a new team, part from scratch, part made up of Pokes I'll transfer when Bank comes out. Pic is my ver0.1 of said team. Needs a physically defensive core, and most of these may change at any time. So I guess right now I don't have a "team" so to speak.

This pokemon seems pretty annoying because you can use Torment or spikes, magic room, heal block.

Yeah I know slow as fuck team but I'd like suggestions for movesets.

I think I already got two decent movesets ready for Aegislash but I have no fucking clue what to do with Chesnaught. He has a lot of good moves from what I've seen but I can't figure out what to give him. I'd also like it if someone could suggest a decent Physical Moveset for Charizard since I got X.

Wailord is mostly there for Surf but he's modest so suggestions for him are welcome too.
