Dialogue is horribly bland and uninteresting, navigating between menus and submenus is sluggish, tons of framerate issues especially during battles, progression/difficulty is either broken / way too easy as I managed to steamroll through the first 3 gyms without putting any effort in, with a single pokémon

The Pokémon Amie and Punching Bags training mini-games are cool gimmicks on their own but completely distract from the main game. At least the dance contest of previous generations made more sense.

Soundtrack is alright. Save for the Pokémon models themselves, graphics are pretty bad. The 3DS has shown it can do insanely better —without any performance issues.

Overall: pretty disappointing
