The things they added were enough, and the postgame is longer than BW.

They did use a lot of their time making all the graphical part, but the overall game experience doesn't suffer from that, so who cares

I'm overall really positive about this gen.
The gameplay is the fastest paced yet, there's a great variety of Pokemon to encounter (even if a lot of them aren't new) and the customisation options really make the PC feel your own.

It's a great foundation for whatever they do next (Z or remakes).

What I would really love is a 3DS Pokemon Snap with the full Pokedex.

It's not the best but neither the worst as you guys say.
Also what's the deal with postgame? I liked how I had to spend like 20 hours seeing all the new shit and stuff only to reach the second gym, while in the other games I would have already finished the e4 .

Their #1 prioirty was bringing old players back, hence the Kanto starters, not many new mons, and are capable of catching most of the Dex by the end or with Friend Safari.

Your fanboysim is showing. R/S is worse than B/W when it comes to postgame, and the Battle Fronteir was better in Platinum and HG/SS.

RS were pretty bad. Emerald added the Battle Frontier and a few other things, which helped a lot.
FR/LG has an impressive post-game with the Sevii Islands and a whole continuation of the main plot.

You must have missed the entire Battle Zone and the shitload of things to do there. Speaking strictly about Platinum, of course.
HG/SS has a dramatically improved post-game as well.

BW was shit like all first versions but BW2 has the best of any game.

Black and White's Post-game is essentially "Go breeze through the other half of unova that just kind of opens up and also has Non-unova pokemon all of a sudden"

XY's post game is a bit shallow but it DOES have stuff like the Looker story
