Personally, I was disappointed Exploud didn't get one. I think it'd look fucking awesome.

Megaevolution should apply to al single stage and fully evolved mons, if only 30 Pokemon get evos the moment you see a team with one of them you;re going to expect said mons to mega evolve, right now is a very predictable mechanic, maybe later we will get Megaevos for everyone else.

This so much. With Mega Medicham and Mega Mewtwo, Gallade needs something else to make him stand out and be usable again. I've always used Gallade as a setup sweeper, with Bulk Up, Shadow Sneak for priority, Drain Punch for healing, and Psycho cut for STAB and because it's awesome. The problems with it are purely from its insufficient stats. A mega form would fix that problem pretty well. Hell, maybe even give him a useful ability while they're at it.

So I guess it's been confirmed that we've seen all the in game megas? I suppose all that's left are more potential event megas.

This is a pokemon that really needed a Mega. Carnivine was one of my best bros in Diamond, but I can't find any reason to run him even on a low tier team.

Oh, hell YEAH!

This is the only Mega I genuinely hope for, no matter how doomed the prospects for it are.

Medicham would have gathered far more benefits from gaining an actual evolution - hence it pains me in more ways than one that a regular Psychic/Fighting mega has been 'awarded' to the zen fighter of pokemon franchise... as I like both.

There is a hope that GF recognizes Gallade as a pokemon that has gathered more than decent amount of popularity and invests some effort into him, with this gimmick or another.

Remember, any mega's that will be revealed in Z must already exist in the X and Y code for the sake of compatibility. Beyond that there will be no new mega's until Gen VII.

Not necessarily. They added new Formes to Black / White 2 and Platinum that weren't in the previous games data. They either will have to make the Z exclusive stuff not available if you're playing with X and Y, or they'll give you the stat boosts without changing the appearance. Or, just what >>14858272 said

I think hydreigon is fine too though, people make too much big of a deal of it getting a 4x fairy weakness, specially when salamence has been dealing with 4x ice beam weakness for years.
