Finally EV'd and leveled up my timid infiltrator Noivern. Other than draco meteor/dragon pulse, what kinds of moves can this sucker learn?

Boomburst. new move. Normal special 140 BP 10 PP.

No drawbacks.

But yeah, Noivern w/ specs is quite the threat. Especially with Meteor / Boomburst. It can also learn air slash for STAB

That's your best bet for an attacking moveset.

U-Turn is for mindgames and quick escapes.

Use Hurricane and Focus Blast if you plan on using rain. Otherwise, I suggest Flamethrower and Boomburst.

Many people underestimate its Special Attack, but it's got great coverage and high base power moves. Along with Choice Specs, its high speed, and Infiltrator it'll be hard to deal with.

Noivern has been my fav gen VI Pokemon since he was shown. Knowing that he's actually going to be good makes me happy.

Noivern is far from a pseudo. Its stats are very tame.

>Def 80
>SpA 97
>SpD 80
>Spe 123

It's just a Dragon-type that you can't get until late in the game.

By the way OP, you DON'T have to wait until level 75 to get Boomburst.

Noivern can learn it via Heart Scale. Go to the move relearner in Dendimille and she'll teach it Boomburst for one scale.

Scales are very easy to get now. Just fish with the Old Rod for Luvdiscs and use Thief on them. 70% of the time, you'll get a heart scale. Just make sure the Pokemon using Thief isn't holding any items.

Apparently, both sound-based moves AND infiltrator pass through Substitute now.

I've also heard tell that infiltrator passes through protect, no confirmation though.

Also worth noting. Noivern learns Taunt and Super Fang.

This makes it the second fastest Pokemon in the game to learn Super Fang. So, you could also go with a stallbreaker set similar to Crobat using both that and Taunt.
