>>14855843If you changed Serperior's colors, you wouldn't be able to tell it was a Grass type if it weren't for the three leaves glued to its tail. It's the same problem I have with Chesnaught, it has absolutely no plant-life on it, something that every Grass starter has. Messing with Chesnaught's palette would make it unrecognizable as a Grass-type.
The instant you look at Torterra you know what type it is. The tree, the moss, the entire thing. It looks like a hunk of earth. I dunno, I just think that it conveys the theme much better, Serperior was a huge step down, and Chesnaught was just a jump off of the proverbial cliff.
