This. I agree completely.

The gameplay and pokemon and story up till that point were fine and all, but the ending fucking sealed it.

The Looker sidestory is, I think, my favorite sequence in the game. Obviously the bar for "good Pokemon stories" is HILARIOUSLY low, but I feel like it was more engaging than the main plot

What exactly do you mean OP?

I didnt complete mine until 54 hours. Longest time until beating the champ for anygame for me.

Youre probably one of those fools that just speed run the game with exp share and dont catch every Pokemon you see, EV train, breed or explore at all

Nah, I beat it in about 46 hours, I was just putting the people down that thought the story was shit, or it was too short, because that seemed to be a sort of general consensus.

I loved catching everything, the game's regional dex is the largest thing fucking ever, I loved the variety.

I liked it. I thought it was goofy how the 3D sprites stood out against the 2D background at the parade, but the ending itself was really poignant.

It was a bit corny, especially the karaoke song during the credits, but the presentation was so sincere that I couldn't help but like it.

That ending wasn't bad but I didn't think it was that moving. The fireworks scene with Shauna gave me more feels and as for the endings, I prefer B/W's one with N.

It's what I did. Went and spent time finding things on every route, getting all the items, super training, spending over 9000 hours in amie and docking around on the GTS for shits and giggles. That's why it took me 48 hours.

Only to a nip would it make sense that a large masculine man would have a passion for a Floette that would lead him to build a weapon to try to destroy the world. In countries that haven't had their minds altered by nuclear radiation, a man like AZ would only go that crazy over either a loyal badass partner in combat, or something he was fucking. And unless he's so small you need a magnifying glass to see his Onix, there's no way he'd fit in that thing. So the only way it makes sense is if Floette had the heart of, say... A Gardevoir, maybe?
