Honestly, I really do think it needs to know flying press. No Hawlucha is complete without it's own colossal body slam.

Yeah

Unfortunately, Flying and Fighting don't have any strengths in common, so there can't be any mega effective moves

My recommendation.

Hawlucha @ Flying Gem
Jolly Nature
Unburden
252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Hi Jump Kick
- Encore

Hawlucha's high speed and the use of Encore make it very easy to get free setup scenarios with Swords Dance. Encore also makes it almost impossible to freely set up on Hawlucha.

Using Acrobatics + Flying Gem will not only hit incredibly hard, but it'll activate Unburden.

After a Swords Dance and an Unburden boost, Hawlucha will be very difficult to stop.

Alternatively, if you don't trust yourself with Encore, you could add an additional attack move. I'd recommend Stone Edge or maybe even Poison Jab if Fairy-types really do become a big problem.

I haven't done much testing, but Flying Press might be viable on some teams since it'll free more attack spaces up for additional coverage moves.

- Bulk Up
- Roost
- Flying Press
- Stone Edge/Encore

A bulky version. Take advantage of Hawlucha's unique typing and decent defensive stats.

Alternatively, could use an EV spread of 252 HP / 252 Spe or even 252 SpD / 252 Spe to make it even bulkier.

Limber is used to avoid being paralyzed while setting up since Unburden is kinda useless without a gem.
