I'm with you, I only watched the first two movies when they came out. I tried to watch the Genosect movie this morning and it had to have been the most ridiculous shit I've ever seen in my life. I changed the channel when the Genosect started talking.

People overrate the first two films really. Like I said, the 3rd film, Heroes, Deoxys, Lucario, and hell, probably even the Genesect film have much better movie plotlines.

I'll watch Genesect today, since I've actually been waiting for that one. Genesect is my favorite fifth gen Pokémon.

Third movie will probably remain my favorite, though.

I am actually relieved.

At first I thought they're gonna make Genesect suck out and pander to Mewtwo, but surprisingly enough, they managed to balance both really well.

Hell, I even like this new Mewtwo more. No pointless angst, no conflict that made you tilt your head, and was a far more believable character.

I watched the first one recently and I agree that movie really isn't very good besides a few moments. I'm watching 2 right now though and it's pretty legit.

IMO the shining moments of the first film are during Mewtwo's backstory, especially if you have seen the deleted scene pertaining to why they were researching clones in the first place.

But then again, I really enjoy dark undertones in my films.
