Post a minor thing that annoys you about X/Y.

Having to collect additional modules for the Pokédex to see everything is stupid, especially when online trading is always available. It just leads to not being able to see the data of a ton of the Pokémon you already have.

I'm mad that everyone in Team Flare got full 3D models. Sure they reuse the grunts and admins but why the fuck didn't Malva get a model? Or better yet, all the gym leaders and the Elite 4 and fucking Diantha?

Yeah, this bugs me too. Those important trainers you mentioned definitely deserved models.
I think the only reason that drawings were preserved (instead of going full-3d with them) is that it's alot easier for drawings to be have sex appeal.

Horde battles are fucking unbearable.
I remember going against a bunch of Mime Jr. and then the loading for Horde battles take forever. Then each one uses FUCKING DOUBLE SLAP WHICH HAS A DELAY IN EACH HIT.
Sucks that each one used double slap and mimic.

One other thing is the 69 Pokemon.

Fairy type for the exception of Xerneas, Togetic, Florges, Gardevoir, and to a lesser extent... Azumarill and Sylveon are complete shit.

Really small, but the "Your 3DS battery is running low!" notification on the PSS screen really bugs me.

It`s pretty unnecessary because there are two flashing red lights on the 3DS itself that lets you know when to charge your game

I think so too. I definitely enjoyed my playthrough of White more; I even got excited when crazy stuff was happening at the end. I love some of the new stuff, but no amount of Amie or graphics can make up for the excitement of a good plot.

Why does GF make the "ice" type worse with every gen? You'd be suicidal to want a pokemon of the ice type nowadays. As a move it's still good, but for a pokemon? Hell no. Fuck you GF.

Why does the PSS spam me with shit like "hey want to do a shoutout?" etc. - no going offline is not really an option.

Some of the gym leaders are incredibly forgettable.

Speaking of Team Flare, I fucking hate, HATE all these artificial roadblocks in the game.

The worst block was a Team Flare Grunt literally saying I need 4 badges for him to "listen".
WHAT THE FUCK? WHY SHOULD HE GIVE A SHIT?

So many of them, and so many of those many have shitty reasonings to stop me. Like the girls who blocked route 16 because I am not "cool" enough, or the construction workers blocking the fully lit Lumiose because of a power outage.

This railroading is worse than Unova. Kalos would have been a great place to explore if it weren't for these SUPER shitty roadblocks.

The "updated" cries for the older Pokemon...

They didn't even need to do that. There are a handful that don't sound bad at all, hell Vaporeon for example still sounds the same. But Pokemon like Charmander and Ampharos sound fucking ridiculous. They don't even sound "updated" or "remastered". They basically distorted their cries and added static to it. Almost all of them sound the same, which is ironic because the majority of them either shared cries or the same combination of sounds but with a different pitch.

Yes yes yes yes thank you good friend thank you for showing me I'm not alone in this opinion.

XY tried to raise the stakes by making the Team Leader's goal genocide and mass extinction, which is grimdark and edgy, but I hardly cared at all because it was never built up enough to make me aniticipate anything. Meanwhile your encounters with Plasma and the drama with N was carefully built up one step at a time throughout your whole story. All the interactions you had with the gym leaders and other NPCs through your journey made you care about them and the world you were supposed to save. XY did nothing but the bare minimum, story-wise. Compared to BW it felt like a summary rather than the finished thing.

Agreed entirely, I had really high hopes but then it's rushed all to fit in between Olympia and Wulfric. Lysandre's such an interesting character and all these admins and designs burst with personality but it's just shoved at the end. I seriously groaned with Callum and Shauna showed up and hamfisted in some random-ass friendship moral.

I'm praying they seriously expand on it with Z/whatever sequels because it seriously pissed me off a bit. Like, 4 gen's entire plot was overhauled by Platinum and it was by far the better for it, so maybe if we get in a prayer circle...

The game was clearly balanced with the EXP. Share turned off, on my Y version I was 10 levels above everything else. wont be making that mistake again.

The fact that the Rapid Fire (Yellow) balls in Super Training are glitched out and broken compared to the other, relatively easy to use types. It's so fucking stupid that they'd make a rapid-fire type have to pause to take a shot, have the 'charge' button be the same as the fire button, then force you to let off a load of shots at once which all travel the same direction despite the fact that the target disappears after being hit once, making all the following shots superfluous. It's weak as shit and I've been purposely avoiding EV training Pokémon with this ammo type for that reason.

it's still a TERRIBLE shot. you can win these game sin ridiculously fast with the other shot and that oen just takes 30x longer and is bitchy as hell about when it 'lets' you charge. a barage of those rapid shots still earn less points than a full charge normal shot, and the normal shot can earn more points before the red goal.

I loved the whole game, and only really have a couple things I didn't like;
Too many migrating pokemon on amie giving me shitty pokepuffs clogging up my little pokepuff bar.

The main reason I hated B/W/2 was because you were forced to use new shitty pokemon in their entirety, everywhere.
Whereas this game has everyones favourite pokemon at fairly unfrustrating obtainable points with some new gems sprinkled in for good measure. So sans the 140 new pkmn over kill is a good addition

I think they dropped the ball on this one. For such a hyped up new mechanic it was rarely used. I would have loved if each gym leader after Korrina and all the elite 4 used mega evolution. Hell, I wouldn't have minded if some random trainers did it. It made the battles that did involve mega evolution feel intense.

In BW you got to explore half a region, had the battle subway, go actually become the champion, the White Forest/Black City, the stadiums and in BW2 all that plus White Forest/Black City Challenge Tower and PWT

In Platinum you got a fairly large island to explore, the whole Battle Frontier and legendary hunting

In Emerald you got legendary hunting, the Battle Frontier and actual gym leader rematches

In G/S/C you got to explore ALL of Kanto, battle with their gym leaders, catch their Pokemon, and so on until you challenged Red, despite Kanto being sorta empty this is by far the most post game content in any Pokemon game next to BW2

That shit they give you in XY is comparable R/B/Y's postgame

Also I was thinking, it's the year 2013 and there are tablet PCs. Why couldn't we get one of those and use it as a quick way to deposit/withdraw shit? It kind of bugs me that still, in the sixth generation, no one recognises you as the champion once you beat the game. Not a single fucking person save for your rival/friends/professor. Why don't they make it so in postgame you can take over a gym and it's sort of like a battle facility you can have some battles in every day.
The battles get progressively harder and you have to keep people from winning your badge to chain points for some highscore board you can compare with your friends online.

You could also decorate your gym pretty freely and recruit a couple trainers (maybe just their sprites, not their pokemon) as you choose.
