My personal opinion and why.
II> I > VI > V > III > IV
GSC: Pokemon still had a fresh feel to me at that point. It had some of my favorite pokemon of all times: Sneasel, Delibird, Kindra, and at the time the baby pokemon. It was also the time where I was the most active in playing with other people when it wasn't super competitive. It was a nice feel, and it has the best memories for me.
RBY: Think of when you got your first pokemon. Your first adventure and the wonder it brought. Looking for each of the pokemon and it was a really nice feel. I like almost all of the original 151 and it was just great. :) (Though it does bother me I'll never have that same feeling as when I first played the game.
XY: It does feel like a breath of fresh air. The story was ok, though forced and I felt it was nice to get a new type and they weren't that bad. I liked the map, and regardless of the lack of ingame content... This was the most fun I've had in a pokemon game in a long while.
BWB2W2: It was alright. I liked the new pokemon, the story was alright. Something just felt off. I just didn't enjoy it as much as I probably should have.
RSEFrLg: I liked the pokemon but that was about it. I didn't like the villains, or the region at all. As much as I like Water pokemon I hate surfing in game. Waaay to much water travel for my taste.
DPPHgSs: I liked the reboots yes, but there is no points for that. Only a handful of the fourth generation pokemon I liked. The team was really bad, the legendaries were lackluster. The region itself sucked. So many negatives to the point where I almost disliked this game.
This was my honest opinion on them all. It is very personal based off of my own experiences and preferences. :) Thank you for your time.
