Finally bred a near-perfect larvesta, modest with 31 IVs in Defense, Sp. Attack, Sp. Def, and Speed.

Is HP Dragon any good for him, along with Quiver Dance, Bug Buzz, and Firey Dance? Or should I go with Hurricane or Roost or something?

That's the holy trinity for Volcaroni. You can really use whatever the fuck you want for your fourth move. I prefer psychic personally.

No. Give it either Substitute, Roost, or Hurricane. Then, once Pokémon Bank comes out, use it and a Volcarona from Gen V and Breed Giga Drain onto a larvesta.

Can't say more than what the others said, HP dragon is kind of garbage. But do you have any other larvestas with decent IVs you don't want?

If his HP is 28, make sure to dump EVs into his HP to make it an odd number (This way, he's guaranteed to live 2 stealth rock swith-ins). If you want minimal investment, all you need is 4 HP EVs.
