Okay I recently finished Pokemon Y and I have a question: What the fuck is there left to do?

I know I can trade/battle/train but is there no post-story? Is it honestly just "Here's a fucking ticket to a small ass town, thanks for playing"?

I feel like Gold/Silver/Crystal had the best setup. You beat the game and gain access to another region. I know asking to visit a past region in X and Y is too much, but something like that would be nice. In Black and White you got to hunt down the sages.

So is that all, or is there something else that I'm missing?
