OP, since it's confusing, i can kind of break it down a bit for you. There's TWO entrances for the Lost Hotel. the main one is on route 15, the second is directly south from there on route 16. the main one has 3 trash cans, one near the entrance, one on the far left, and one back by The Boss (you need to get all 4 skate tricks to get back there)
Now, there's actually a fourth one that registers in that group, if it's shaking, then the other 3 you can get to from the main entrance WONT shake, which will throw you off and make you think that there's none there. However, just go down to the second entrance, battle some more trainers, and you'll have access to another 3 or 4 cans.
