It's the most ergonomic of any 3ds, this has been confirmed by all reviewers, and is especially great since the previous two iterations cause hand-cramps in larger handed users after an hour or so of play.. Having both screens on a flat pane is also an excellent design choice, since your vertical range of vision is greatly increased, it's easier to play wile lying down, or with your arms all the way out. It doesn't have the flaws that caused actual permanent damage of the original, which alone is a reason to pick it out.
