So i found a way to stop the japs from receiving wondertrades. Basically when you see their little jap name pop up in the wondertrade box, just click 'home' on your 3ds. It'll give the trade an error message and you can search again for someone else.

Viola! You just halved the number of bunnelbys and plebebes in your boxes.
