I'm not sure.

I thought it was going to be the lower half of France, sort of like a BW2 expansion except bigger (see pic).

But a whole new region? Nah, that's Gen 7 I think.

I was talking about the third version new areas. That's precisely why I think it won't be a new region in a Gen 6 game.

IF they introduce new areas, it's going to be like BW2 and go into southern France.

for example johto being right next to kanto but never seeing a johto pokemon in kanto, even flying ones

It's gotta be an event/DLC item. That, or it's just there, but I don't remember anything like that ever happening in another Pokemon game though; items like this generally have a purpose at some point.

What I don't get, is it's saying it's depicting a Pokemon, though it literally just looks like a head. I mean, I know that's not a stretch, but really...

did you ever play pokemon battle revolution for wii? it looked pretty nice. maybe they want to make the handheld games to look better.

Wii U will get something. loved the pokepark games.
