currently ev training my mewtwo because I got lucky with a timid nature. I'm using super training and I was wondering if It stopped gaining ev's once it got to 255 or if the ev bar kept going up and wasted the ev's.

oh yeah, got confused for a sec. i'm just wondering because I've been training special attack and the ev bar keeps going up and yet the stat looks maxed

If you go over the number it cuts the difference.

So if you're at 250 and do a level 3 balloon, it'll only get +2 EVs.

When you try to use a punching bag in a maxed stat it'll say you can't train any further.
