I just did this one right now: GWZG-WWWW-WWWX-JMKQ My lack of sleep is getting to me, since I totally did not notice that Mewtwo didn't exert its Pressure at the beginning of the match. But I was able to turn it around because Speed Boost Blaziken is retarded against non-Talonflame/Azumarill teams.

>>14901427 Most players won't think to use ground. Also, one could also keep Charizard in normal form if going up against ground.
But really, his small deficiencies are null with the 3v3 meta (which I'm loving). It adds a huge element of prediction and counter-picking. If they have a lot of Charizard X counters, just put out your grass staller instead.

J.D. (2294-4261-6703) (Kirlia, Jigglypuff, Clefairy) Sun 20 Oct 2013 12:18:43 No. 14901604 Report >>14901535 It's a lot more like the VGC meta; very fast paced, and less reliant on stalling, setting hazards, etc.
I prefer doubles to singles, simply because there's an extra dose of team synergy, and because 3v3s don't last very long. Surprising that more double vids haven't been posted.
Anonymous
>>14901535 Because I like building full teams of 6 pokemon who each cover eachother and help eachother out.
Now it's just slap three "derp these pokemon are strong" on a team and you are done.
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>14901604 But stalling can win 3v3's easily if you play it right. I can understand the short thing being bad, though.
>>14901631 Have you even played Ranked? You can say the same thing about 6v6 "hurr throw strong pokemon on team." Strong pokemon will always win over weaker ones, hurr. There's an added element of strategy in 3v3 meta because of the team preview screen. You have to choose which three pokemon to throw in based on what your opponent may choose. And your entire 6 choices better have good synergy since you'll probably have to use them together at any given point in time. It requires much more planning than 6v6, in my opinion.
Anonymous
>>14901604 Doubles is really hard to get into. Like you mention it's much more complex than singles. I've been wanting to do doubles for some time now but there are some many combinations and strategys available I don't even know where to begin.
