You could slap a life orb or band and make a set, sure. But where he really shines is his signature move geomancy which raises Sp. Attack, Sp. Def, and speed two stages.

Both it's base offensive stats are 131, so a mixed attacking set would work. I was thinking:

Xerneas w/Life Orb
Hasty/Naive
252 Atk/4 SpAtk/252 Spd
>Moonblast (STAB + Fairy Aura)
>Close Combat (for Steel-types)
>HP Ground/HP Fire
>Thunder Wave/Horn Leech

It has an unusual move pool to work with so this is the best I've come up with. Max out Speed and for Atk & SpAtk, you could max out Atk or split them evenly at 128 depending on your build.

Your biggest worry in Ubers will most likely be Dialga since it can shrug of HP Ground and possibly run Flash Cannon and hit you with that.
