How? I don't get how the story for X&Y are bad. It's the second most serious story only to BW. The friends don't count as part of the story so I don't understand why people mark them as one of the bad points.

>After a little traveling you meet Team Flare, a team of rebels who want the world to be beautiful again

>When you get to Geosenge you learn about how Mega Stones appeared the same time as a war and the first Mega Stone was of a Lucario

>You reach ToM and you learn of a king who traveled across Kalos with his Lucario who ended up Mega Evolving after coming into contact with one of the stones.

>You run into Team Flare numerous times who say Pokemon have a mysterious type of energy that can be used to change the world

>At the Frost Cavern you learn an Abamasnow emits a large amount of energy that Team Flare want and after you defeat them, that Abamasnow gives you a Mega Stone. See the connection?

>In Anistar City you learn from an old man that Xerneas emitted a large amount of energy that flourished Kalos with life and once it died, it released that energy and a new type of Pokemon was created that participated in the world. So now you know that the Fairy type was invented by Xerneas

>Later on your journey, you learn of the Ultimate Weapon, and how when if was used for the first time, Mega Stones were created. The Ultimate Weapon is the holder of a large amount of energy that can create a Poke-genocide.
