In theory, once you get a perfect IV Pokemon from every egg group, it would be pretty easy to breed perfect IVs for every Pokemon, right?

I'm a novice when it comes to breeding, and I'm nearly close to my first ever 6/6 IV Pokemon. Just curious!

It would still require a lot of breeding, for destiny knot can only pass 5 IV stats, not all 6. Plus it's not guaranteed it will pass all 5 from that parent; it can pass from the other parent. So, in theory, yes-- it would cut the effort by a lot, but it would still take some time.

You would only have to get it on one and then you could spread to the other groups as a lot of pokemon have multiple egg groups. However, it might be easier to go for 6 IV dittos though now that the Friend Safari exists.

I've thrown over 600 Ultra Balls at Dittos and didn't find one with 4/6. 3/6 is my best.

Well you could use 3/6s if the IVs don't overlap. Just going to take an extra generation of breeding though.

The chances of catching a wild ditto with perfect IVs is 1 out of 900,000. That's counting the two perfect IVs you get from the friend safari, mind you.
