>>14912637I can see applications for both of them. MegaAggron needs to be used with caution since his special bulk isn't that great after all and will fall to any fellow megas, so that's kinda disappointing. It's probably the best physical wall in thegame, though, and it can hit back like a truck. It really needs an advanced movepool now, though. Since the mega lacks lefties recovery, I don't see it making it big without Recover/Slack Off or something comaprable. But since Blastoise gets Aura Sphere now, I can also totally see that happening. Also, it needs Bullet Punch badly.
MegaTyranitar is basically everything I hoped it would be. It's just a regular improvement over Tyranitar, but that was a game changer to begin with. It has added bulk and an Attack that allows it to rape everything. (This reminds me, I should really do some Aqua Tail vs. Hippowdown calcs...)
In the end, I don't think MegaTyranitar will convince anyone to put Tyranitar on their team, but for a lot of Sandstorm teams already running Tyranitar anyway, MegaTyranitar will be a very viable option (and could work even as a secondary mega in conjunction with Lucario or Aerodactyl), especially since it gives you the strongest weather inducer in the game and should thus faciliate weather wars, which is what MegaTyranitar was built for: It has 1 (one!) Speed point more than Politoed. And I don't need to tell you it scares the crap out of Ninetails and Abomasnow. So MegaTyranitar is definitely a force to be reconned with.
