FINALLY got the GTS to work. Apparently if you have your filter for region/pokemon you have on, the GTS will break. Turning it on, finding the trader you want, then turning it off and trading worked...

Yes, I've been breeding on and off for Venipede, MM and Shiny Charmed, on White 2, to no success.

Tried Petilil before that, and Magnemite before that. I generally change what I am going for when I lose track of time/count of how many damn eggs I hatch trying to get them.

I'm pretty new to shiny hunting and before embarking on such a (potentially) lengthy quest, I have a few questions:
When using Masuda Method do you typically use Foreign ditto+pokemon you want shiny and have the correct nature on ditto+everstone? Is there a way to control IVs with this as well?
Also, I know about flame body halving steps but is there anything else that makes hatching eggs go quicker? Hatch them as I get them, hatch 5 at a time, more/less?? Any other general tips?

I completely forgot to breed Bullet Seed onto my Shroomish, so now I have a Shiny Adamant 31 SPD/SPE Technician Breloom without his best move.

Modest, but he can work as a mixed sweeper too based off his spread.

Speed is his biggest asset, so he could be an interesting revenge killer, especially if it gets Protean as it's special ability. He learns nasty plot later on, as well.

Iktf. I'm doing this but with gastly. I got a shiny gastly way too early when i was trying to improve the parents IV's so I could use destiny knot for reliably good IV's.

but if you want to keep it, just go 252 SP atk, 252 in HP, maybe attack if you want to go mixed, then the rest in HP or something, even Speed if you really want.

Froakie seems to have a good movepool in terms of HM coverage, have something like Surf, Ice Beam, Nasty Plot and see if it can learn a good fighting move or something.

Protean is cool because it changes the type of your pokemon before it uses the move, so it will always be a STAB move. The more coverage he has the better.

I've just finished my 6th box of fletchlings after getting a shiny one with big pecks. I feel like I'll never have a shiny one with gale wings.

Okay guys. How autistic do I need to be here? Is 31 Attack and Speed good breeding stock for Beldum or should I do some sort of retardely long chain breeding? The sire I plan on using is Adamant with "relatively superior" and the bitch is a Jap ditto with 31 Sp.Def and also speed.

if you're looking for getting the last o-power, its technically not max, but you check how much the stones are at the stone emporium. You need them down to 50k for the hatching power, max is i think 10k

There aren't. Chaining is defined within the game every time yo attemp, it will give you a random number of possible sucesses, say, 30 chains, after you get past that, it will give you a shitty random pokemon to break your chain on purpose. Or, off course, if you walk into a patch of grass that barely moves.

But yeah do not believe the "100% WORKS YOLO" shitposters, it doesn't, it's like slot machines, try as you must, it is programmed to only let you win on rare ocassions.

It's pretty dreadful when you think about it, you might be on your 38 chain but the game already called the variables to break at the 39 chain, no matter what you do, the game knew this probably since you turned it on, and hasn't changed until you actually fail and make a new attempt.

What's a good spot to chain Pupitar? There's a 5x5 on Route 18 but rarely do you get 4 tiles away so you're basically risking it on 3 tiles each time.
