Gale Wings gives priority. Lagging Tail makes a move go last in that priority bracket.

Wouldn't the priority for both halves of fly be the same because they're both a flying move.

Gale wings puts you at +1 and I think laggin gtail puts you at -1, so you just end up using fly normally.

If it is broken how I think you mean it is, then there is no hope for us all and talonflame gon get banned. Although I guess regular priority can get around it, and never-miss-moves

It would still be vulnerable to thunder and 'always hit' moves Also moves that make you go last.

Not true. If you use a move that has priority like Quick Attack, you'll still go first, just after all other priority move users.

But yeah, this entire thing depends on whether Gale Wings cancel out Lagging tail and if Gale Wings affects the second part of fly.

I don't know if this would actually work, but if it does you wouldn't be able to hit Talonflame with most attacks.

there was a gimick where you'd have a Liepard with a set like Assist/Hone Claws/Taunt/Sub and had it hold a Lagging Tail. The only other pokemon in your team was a Smeargle with Shadow Force. Then you'd just spam Assist. Prankster would let you go first with Assist, making you always disapear first in Shadow Force, but the lagging tail would make your reappear last.

Forgot to add Substitute as an option to stop stallbreak that's why I added Leftovers.Also I forgot about Rockslide but I want to try Poison jab and see how it goes.

Prankster is +1 priority
but Trick Room has -6 priority, so a prankster trick room will go before any other trick rooms but pretty no other moves at -6 priority anyway

See, but that only works because Shadow Force itself is not boosted by Prankster, Assist is.
Since Fly IS boosted by Gale Wings, I'm guessing it always gets priority.

Just confirmed it doesnt work.
Used a Gale Wings Fletchinder (lvl 30) against a lvl 59 gurdurr on victory road.
Both parts of Fly hit before Gurdurr attacked, but ember hit after gurdurr attacked.
So unless we were speed tying GF though of this shit.

THIS. This is not comparable to Divecats at all, because Gale Wings gives priority to ALL flying attacks, not just damage-less ones. So it gives both the first and the second turn of Fly +1 priority. So unless your opponent uses a priority move while you're flying, lagging tail has no additional effect.
