I was wondering if I could get some help/tips/tutorial on how to breed decent Pokemon. In this case, A Gastly that I could eventually evolve into a Gengar which I could go into competitive battling with.

I was also wondering if I'd be able to still Masuda method to get a shiny whilst also trying to get this decent Pokemon. (I hope that makes sense).

I've never done this before and I feel like this would give me some good practice.
