Name a fairy pokemon that is a threat to the likes of shit like garchomp.

You can't unless you refer to a retcon pokemon name azumarill or Togekiss. Both which were already threats to garchomp before gen 6.

Also while steel lost its resistance to dark and ghost it got Aegislash and super effectivness on fairy in return.

No they weren't you tit. Togekiss never hard-walled Garchomp without Stone Miss with just Normal/Flying. He just plowed through the little bird with Outrage until now. also

Actually, most of the dragons got harder hit than people think.

Salamence, Dragonite and Hydreigon are walled by Togekiss AND Sylveon and they have to give up a coverage move for a shitty Steel one. (and Hydreigon's Flash Cannon can't even 2HKO)
Careful M-Mawile eats Latis for breakfast and their HP Fire got nerfed.
The only dragon that went by unscathed is Kyu-B, and one Icicle Crash in its moveset is enough to send it to the ubers.

Ice is one of the top 5 offensive Types. Just because something doesn't have good defenses does not mean it's a terrible type.

Bug is also a sneaky offensive type, resists certain other offensive types, gives Scizzor his one and only weakness instead of multiple, and got really nice buffs in Gens 4 and 5.

The problem with that accusation:

1. Mega-Gengar technically can only be countered in very specific scenarios (vs. other Shadow Tag users, vs. other ghost types). Otherwise, you will not be able to even switch to a counter.

2. If Mawile could switch, it wouldn't enjoy a Shadow Ball with that terrible base HP.

3. Sucker Punch is extremely predictable, a joke move to any Pokemon that doesn't run an entirely offensive set or isn't choiced.

Calling sucker punch a joke move is mostly based off of the predictability of the player base.

Similar to why Aegislash players aren't entirely at their best yet. Once they learn how to properly predict though they will be horrifying to fight.

Yeah, nah. Plus M-Mawile gets a 40 bst bonus compared to non mega. You are guaranteed to pull off a sucker punch with him and he can revenge kill a Gengar easily.

He is calling it a joke move based off of if you predict properly, you can get free buffs up while the other person wastes sucker punches.

Similar to why you could call King's Shield a joke move based off of knowing to just buff when an Aegislash pops out vs a physical attacker.

You really don't think Sucker Punch isn't a joke? It's easily one of the most predictable moves of all time, bar none. You can say "revenge kill" when I say Substitute or switch out.

Except by subbing you won't lose out. It's quite possibly one of the safest moves available. If I sub and you predict it, I lose 25/18% of my HP, depending if I'm losing lefties. But Mawile relying on Sucker Punch to do something is even worse, being it consistently puts it in a life-or-death situation.
