Hey guys, I just discovered Goomy today and I want to train one. It's so cute! And it evolves into a purple goo dragon? Yeah, cool!

Where do I begin? I'm not heavy into EVs and IVs and all that, but I do like to get a decent nature, the better ability, and all that.

Advice for Goomy?

Get one with the Gooey ability.

Hydration is not as good since rain got nerf, and Sap Sipper is not useful for Goodra.

Gooey is pretty neat, it cripples phsyical attackers

They're found in the friend safari. Best bet would be to try and get someone to trade you a female one and breed that though. Dragon safari's are kinda rare.

I'd do it, but I'm in the middle of another project and it'd be a good half hour before I could get you one.

Only if one of the parents has Gooey. Gooey is a hidden ability. That's how hidden abilities work.

If you'd like, I could add you and send over a gooey sliggoo later. It'd even be Bold already.

Not a lot of trouble at all. Once you have one, it's really easy to get more. Especially if you have a friend with Sliggoo in their friend safari like I do. It's just getting the first one that's tricky. Only a few minutes of looking for one, really.
