The pokes this gen aren't bad they are mostly made to fill certain niches or be used strategically. The only shit thing that came out of this is that 2x fairy damage on darks as if they weren't frail already. Sure set up darks that outspeed Xerneas are fine but most other fairies aren't about dat damage they are about dat defense so if you don't 1 shot them with SE fire then you are fucked. Unless its a physical skill since their defensed tend to be shit.
Even then your main threats are(outside of the obligatory legend) Klefki Mega Mawile/Mawile and Sylveon
They aren't that hard to wreck, but it's not like they will be ineffectual either.
Dragalge is a boss. Scraggy/Scrafty is shit unless it has speed and/or gets bullet punch. Sure Zoroark can do damage on fairies as well as Mega Absol, Absol more so due to the physical inclination but what other darks we got?
I mean I'm kinda salty about some of the base stats of stuff this gen, but I understand why, however why is Fairy DE against fucking DARK we dont need another ice type.
