What the fuck happened? Even Team Magma/Aqua was better executed than Team Flare was.

They set up such good characters but they never got fleshed out to make them worth a shit and they set up such a good plot but the bland characters and pacing made it feel like more of a side story with no real sense of threat posed at all. Even the Looker side quest felt a lot more complete and satisfying than the pile of shit they forced me through after the 7th gym. I'm so disappointed in this shit, especially after BW showed they can run a good storyline alongside the generic become champion one.
