>>14936880Yes. Sound type is pretty solid right now. There are already sound moves and pokemon with a sonic or music theme.
However, some sound moves are classed as a type other than normal, so they can't be retyped as sound moves (as only normal moves have been retyped to Dark or Fairy).
To be balanced, Sound pokemon cannot be resistant or immune to Sound moves, otherwise the Soundproof ability loses its value (as several potential sound pokemon have it). Making Sound supereffective against itself would make Soundproof valuable to Sound pokemon.
