Is there any reason to use Gardevoir this generation, mega or otherwise? It got a lot of new moves, a few base stat boosts, a new type, and a mega evolution, but so did Alakazam, and Alakazam has always kept Gardevoir from scaling the tiers.

Gardevoir gained Fairy type so she's no longer weak to Dark and is now immune to Dragon. Also, I don't know if she can learn moonblast but if she can, she's going to hit like a truck.

She is way more versatile with her extra typing and moves she can get. That said, she's slower compared to other pokemon she's weak to. So she can't be a speed sweeper but is usually used for tanking special attacks. I would go with a Modest/Naughty nature with 256 SpAtk/SpDef depending on your team set and then work out a movepool based on your stat set. I wanted her because she's a really good pokemon and because she's my pokewaifu and I like the look of her
